With his dream of imparting quality education in and around Aligarh, Mr. Swapnil Jain, the Pro-Vice Chairman decided to open the first branch of Delhi Public School in Hathras in 2013 for the children in and around the district of Hathras after his successful venture of DPS Aligarh and DPS Civil Lines. He visualized his dream here with a keen focus on students, commitment to quality and dedication to continuous improvement empowering students to handle whatever life may throw at them. Being the first of its kind in the Hathras district, this co-educational school sprawled over 14 acres aims at creating an environment where learning happens naturally and continuously far beyond the walls of the classrooms. By promoting the qualities of growth, holistic development through integrated classrooms, globalized faculty as well as world-class school events, he has ensured that students construct an ever-widening view of the world through a range of interdisciplinary experiences within and outside the classroom teaching.

With seminars, workshops as well as activity-oriented approach of teaching, he has imbibed the culture of learning through commitment, where every student is encouraged to take ownership of their learning.

His regular interaction with the students also results in making them stronger to deal with failure and using it to their defense to rise higher and stronger. His intensive interaction with the faculty results in making the teachers not a knowledge sharing platform, but a facilitator who scaffolds and uses student’s experience to teach rather than dictating his or her terms. He always emphasizes that a teacher must understand where each student is at the learning process and establish opportunities for interaction and improvement. Through including students in taking leadership roles in various intra and interschool events and competitions, he inculcates the skills of decision-making and organization from a very young age.He promotes that each student must be encouraged to put forth their ideas without being judged or criticized, take intellectual and emotional risks, and learn from each other in the most conducive environment which makes their learning process not rigorous, but enjoyable.
